We focused on new product releases from our Two-Way Radio Partner, Hytera. On display was the brand new PD985 portable, which features full duplex capability as well as in-built voice recording on Micro SD. GS Kok, our guest of honour at the event, showed all the new products working, as well as the second generation of Digital product which is based on a smart phone operating system and capable of working over DMR, 4G and is LTE ready.
Keynote speech was provided by renowned explorer Tom Avery, the only man to go to both North and South Poles and conquer Greenland! Tom provided a fascinating talk, which described the challenges facing each expedition of this type, as well as how the same challenges exist in business life.
We also managed to fit a little bit of fun into the day – if there are any F1 teams out there short of pit crew we are happy to make some recommendations!
