Syndico Distribution has announced the signing of an exclusive distribution arrangement with Midland Radio as their consumer brand of choice.
Midland has manufactured quality Two-Way Radios for over 50 years, and was the first American manufacturer of CB Radio back in the 1960’s. Since then, their product portfolio has expanded to cover all elements of Two-Way Radio communication and they have become a market leader in the consumer radio sector.
Upon signing the agreement at Syndico’s Hedge End distribution facility, Andrew Wilson said:
“We have made it clear that we will maintain our strategy of being loyal to a single manufacturer per market segment, and I’m delighted to be working with Midland on the consumer sector. The brand is already well established with some key retailers, including Maplin and Tesco, and it is our intention to continue the growth that their existing partners have created over the last 30 years in the UK. The longevity of the brand and the quality of the radios speaks volumes, and gives us a fantastic base from which to work from. The agreement with Midland means that we now have a presence in all tiers of the Two-Way Radio market, which is necessary to provide an all encompassing service to our Channel Partners.”
