Syndico has been shortlisted for “Employer of the Year” in Hampshire’s Business Excellence awards, supported by The News (Portsmouth) and JPI Media. Based on our commitment to developing our company, this nomination marks a notable achievement for Syndico.
We have invested significant time and financial resources to ensure our organisation grows from both sales and operational perspectives; but moreover, Syndico is totally committed to developing our staff, who are instrumental in running our synchronised distribution service. We achieved Investors in People accreditation in July 2017 based on our commitment to allowing each member of “Team Syndico” to contribute, prosper and take ownership in their roles. Currently, Syndico has three members of staff on development programmes; Catie is completing an apprenticeship in Business Administration, Laura is working towards her AAT accounting qualifications, and Sam is studying on CIM’s Certificate in Professional Marketing.
Andrew Wilson, Syndico’s Managing Director, commented: “We’re delighted to be nominated for an award like this – since starting the business in 2015, Shona [Syndico’s Operations Director] and I have always viewed investing in our staff as a no-brainer. To look back and see how our employees have developed personally and professionally since they joined Syndico is extremely pleasing, and their potential has no limits as long as we continue to do all the right things. And the best thing about it – we know that by looking after our staff, every one of our customers will benefit!”
The Business Excellence Awards evening will take place on 1st February at Portsmouth Guildhall.
