Gould Electronics is a family-run specialist reseller of communication solutions based in Redruth, Cornwall. Formed by David Gould in 1988 after a 13-year military career, the business has evolved from a workshop in a small garden summer house to a truly national and professional organisation. Having built their business on two-way radio, Gould have diversified into several other key sectors of the radio communications market and now offer some of the best, fully-tailored packages available.
In the summer of 2018, Dave was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Dave battled the disease and has become cancer-free in just a year; however, without an early diagnosis it may have been a very different story. Thankfully, Dave was able to focus on his recovery knowing that his beloved company was left in safe hands belonging to Marie (his wife) and Bethany (his daughter). It goes without saying that upon learning the news that Dave has been given the “all-clear”, everybody at Syndico was relieved and delighted. This is a reflection of how everybody who has a professional relationship with Gould Electronics holds their organisation in such high esteem.
In September 2019, Dave’s wife Marie – who is Gould Electronics’ Company Secretary – is undertaking a mammoth challenge of physical and mental endurance by cycling from Lands End to John O-Groats. She has been raising money for Prostate Cancer Research Centre, and so far has raised almost £8,000! Syndico are absolutely delighted to be sponsoring the vehicle which will be supporting Marie throughout her journey, and we wish her all the best in achieving her goal and completing the challenge safely.
