Built to perform in the toughest conditions, DJI Dock 3 is engineered as a true all-weather solution.
With an IP56-rated housing, active climate control, and robust internal diagnostics, it operates reliably in rain, dust, heat, and cold. Whether deployed in remote industrial sites or exposed urban environments, Dock 3 ensures uninterrupted drone operations.
DJI Dock can operate and charge in extreme heat to ensure efficient operations, even in temperatures of up to 50°C.
Likewise, DJI Dock provides reliability even in temperatures as low as –20°C. Furthermore, it can operate stably in extremely harsh temperatures as low as –30°C after pre-heating.
Matrice 4D and 4DT drones provide exceptional flight performance, even in windy conditions. They can perform stable take-off and landing in wind speeds of up to 27mph, and fly for over 30 minutes.
The DJI Dock 3 solution is designed to be dependable in all conditions. The Dock itself is IP56 rated with internal components protected from external conditions, and the Matrice 4D and 4DT drones are certified to IP55.
Matrice 4D and 4DT drones are equipped with anti-ice, low-noise propellors, reducing noise during night operations and improving flight stability in cold and wet conditions.
DJI Dock 3 offers unmatched deployment flexibility, transforming how drone operations are planned and executed.
For fixed installations, signal strength can be optimised by positioning the next-generation D-RTK 3 Relay at elevated locations, giving teams more freedom in choosing the best site for the dock. Setup is simple and streamlined using the new DJI Enterprise app, which enables full deployment from a smartphone.
And for the first time, DJI Dock 3 supports vehicle-mounted deployment, making it ideal for rapid response and long-range missions where mobility and speed are critical.
DJI Dock 3 can be installed in fixed locations, including suburban areas surrounded by tall buildings. DJI’s D-RTK 3 Relay solution can alleviate video transmission signal interference caused by buildings and obstructions, which can extend the Dock-to-Drone flight distance to up to 25km.
With a D-RTK 3 Relay installed on a rooftop, signal quality can be significantly improved to support stable and efficient operation in build-up areas.
Deploying a D-RTK 3 Relay either on or near a communication tower can enhance signal quality and stability during Dock 3 operations, enduring safe take-off and landing without interference.
Dock 3 is DJI’s first drone docking solution which supports vehicle-mounted deployment, and its design was optimised for this purpose. Key structural components, including its air conditioning, have undergone vehicle vibration testing, and the Dock has new features to support vehicle installations including cloud-based dock location calibration horizontal calibration.
DJI FlightHub 2 to remotely set the dock’s location during mobile operations.
Two docks can be deployed on a single vehicle simultaneously, achieving a significant efficiency boost.
Automated hovering rotation of two drones enables continuous real-time aerial footage transmission.
Combined with DJI FlightHub 2 for management of drone operations, DJI Dock 3 can significantly enhance the intelligence and efficiency of remote operations.
FlightHub 2 is at the heart of DJI Dock 3 applications, allowing operators to automate drone operations to provide new levels of efficiency.
Route planning, flight scheduling, task execution, cloud storage and task area management can all be conducted using FlightHub 2 – all features which help operators get the absolute best out of their Dock solution.
The software is also a central place for remote monitoring and maintenance of DJI Docks out in the field, real-time view of flight records with single-click summary reports, and alerts relating to abnormal weather conditions which could affect the success or safety of a mission.
Create custom flight routes, where the drone can capture images and videos of anomalies such as unexpected motion or thermal abnormalities.
Periodical analysis of changes to an area are captured during flights, assisting in environmental protection, natural disaster relief and structural damage protection.
Matrice 4D Series drones have powerful auto-zoom capabilities, allowing operators to quickly track objects such as vehicles and vessels.
Gain vital situational awareness in critical situations quickly and efficiently – with Optimal Route Planning, a designated point 1km away and at 100m altitude can be reached in as little as 100 seconds.
Live view latency is impressively low with FlightHub 2 – a vital feature for real-time decision making.
Real-time data transmission and rapid modelling can be achieved during drone flights, and data transfer can be completed immediately upon landing for enhanced efficiency.
Although DJI FlightHub 2 uploads, stores and manages data on ISO/IEC 27001-compliant cloud servers operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS), DJI Dock 3 and FlightHub 2 can be privately deployed on-premises for enhanced data privacy and security.
Data for UK users is stored on AWS Servers, which are certified to ISO/IEC 27001 (security compliance) and ISO 27701 (privacy compliance) standards.
Users can install FlightHub 2 in an isolated intranet environment for a completely private deployment, providing an additional layer of data security.
Using the “Media File Direct Transfer” feature, media files can bypass FlightHub 2 and be transmitted directly from the Dock to a third-party storage bucket.
